Wikia will be read-only for up to a couple of hours on the 18th November. The Wikia staff will be conducting some planned testing and maintenance during this time. Some site features such as editing, login, chat and search will have limited or no availability during this time.

The read-only time is scheduled to start around:

• 1:30 pm UTC (Universal time, London)
• 5:30 am PST (San Francisco)
• 8:30 am EST (New York)
• 2:30 pm CET (Poznan)
• 10:30 pm JST (Tokyo)
• The Time Zone Converter can be useful to convert these to your own time zone.

Due to the animation company Manglobe has recently filed for bankruptcy, which put the anime adaptation of the GANGSTA series to an end. Sad isn't it? The studio which is more known for its outstanding work in animating Deadman Wonderland is in debt of around ¥350 million yen, the animators will not be paid and so, they will not work!

We hope this isn't the end of the line for the anime adaptation however, if this is the end for it, how would you rate the 13 episodes released so far?

I just noticed that even though there are pages from Connie and Marco, they seem to not be listed under the "Normals" or the "Superhuman Normals" tabs. I just thought I'd notify some staff members of this error(?)

This is an important notice! Over the weekend, something happened on wikia in which a troll compromised some user accounts on other wikias. Basically, a hacker had hacked into various accounts on wikias using the JavaScript as an access point.

Also, as a result of this event, wikia has disabled all custom JavaScript access. This means our JavaScript templates such as the Switch Template, show/hide, etc are turned off. This also includes the auto refreshing seen in the Wiki Activity. Just a heads up!

This would just be a forum indicating when our beloved Gangsta books get published and other releases! 

For starters, Book 6 comes to North America next week on the 19th of May! (I got lucky and got mine early!), so be sure to buy your books soon! Gangsta popularity is going up! Chapter 40 is out and 41 should come later this month.

Gangsta: Cursed. EP: Marco Adriano will be hitting tankobon form on July 9th (woo!) maybe it will be coming to the west in October? Another note that I read on the blog is that Gangsta Volume 7 is also scheduled to come out on July 9th! Looking forward to that in Autumn (I hope Alex is on the normal edition cover!)

Onto anime; If you haven't seen the preview trailer of the anime, I recomend hitting that link and boarding the hype train. The anime is ALSO scheduled to be released in July! Wow, busy month, I hope Kohske will be okay...

So just a bit of things to chew on for now~ I'll try to update this post whenever I can!

I was reading on the F Yeah Gangsta blog and there was something that caught my eye. This was something that bothered me when I first got my books, the dog tags dates didn't match up to the ages of the characters in the back. So according to this they take Doug's book birthdate and compare it to the merchandise date and it was 5 years off. 

I was just wondering if this means we should change everyone's birthdate to match Doug's meaning we take their ages and go backwards from 2011 (which would be the approximate year in this series if we consider Doug's birthdate to be correct). Honestly I don't think anyone cares, it's just something I thought I would bring up.
