Barry Abbot (バリー・アボット, Barī Abotto?) was a small-time criminal boss and Alex Benedetto's former pimp who was later killed by the The Handymen.
Appearance[]
Barry was a Caucasian man with messy brown hair and some stubble on his chin. He was usually seen in a smart casual attire, with the top button of his shirt undone and a visible gold chain around his neck.
Personality[]
He was ambitious, short-tempered, manipulative and cruel. He put Alex (and probably other prostitutes that worked for him) on TB drugs to keep them subservient and docile regardless of the consequences (such as causing Alex to have horrifying hallucinations of him after his death due to withdrawal symptoms).
Background[]
Barry was the leader of an expanding organisation that dealt with endeavors such as larceny and prostitution. He was also the one that brought Alex to Ergastulum and coerced her into prostitution.[1]
Plot[]
Introduction Arc[]
Barry was seen taking money from Alex Benedetto scolding for not making enough money and threatening her not to run away. He was later pursued by Nic per Inspector Chad Adkins's orders. After being face-to-face with Nicolas, Barry tried to reason with him and offered to give him ten times the money Nicolas was given if he joined them. Just as Nicolas was about to kill Barry, Worick Arcangelo appears and shot Barry at the leg. While distracted, Barry tried to reach out for a gun on the floor but was stopped by Nic when the latter pierces his hand using his katana. Barry continued to reason with them, even offering Alex to them. However, Worick just smirks and proceeds to shoot him. [2]
