Lazarus ( ラザロ, razaro) is a minor Twilight character. He appears in GANGSTA.: CURSED.
Appearance[]
Lazarus takes on a very unkempt appearance. He has black, messy and lengthy hair and light-coloured eyes with heavy eye bags. He has a defined nose and stubs. Lazarus wears a baggy black coat, dark pants and buttoned down white dress shirt. Lazarus is a smoker.
Personality[]
Lazarus is portrayed as tired, depressed and nihilistic. His personality may have been different before the time of the Second Destroyers. However, he shows great affection and care towards Helen - a young girl he found on the streets he took under his wing. Their relationship is somewhat like one of a father and daughter.
Background[]
Plot[]
Lazarus was a Twilight hiding with Helen found by Spas, when Spas took cover at a nearby abandoned house. He converses with the broken Spas and tells Spas to just kill him already but Helen defends and tries to protect him from Spas. Lazarus and Helen are surprised when Spas breaks down and tells them of his wrong doings. Lazarus covers for Spas from the Paulklee Guild search party by hiding him in a small room and concealing Spas' distinct scent by pouring wine on the ground. Galahad Woehor, who is leading the search party, questions Lazarus on whether he saw Spas around but Lazarus lies to save Spas' life as he believes Spas being captured and killed on the spot by the search party would not be enough to pay for what he has done and that Spas must live and atone for his sins. Spas leaves soon after.
Lazarus and Helen appear again when Lazarus is shown to be dying of an unknown disease which makes him cough out blood. He asks Helen for water but as Helen tends to him, Maverick is lingering outside in search of Spas who she was tracing by scent.
Lazarus and Helen are beheaded by Maverick at the end of Chapter 9.
Abilities[]
Lazarus is adapt in leg combat. He is equipped with shoes with hidden blades and hooked blades from his lower trousers.
